Capital Funds Campaign 2020
1. When does the campaign begin and what is the purpose?
The campaign begins on Sunday, March 24, 2019, and ends on March 22, 2020. The campaign has 2 primary goals (1) to raise enough funds in our account for an associate pastor (2) to raise immediate funding for a new computer and media equipment.
2. Why do we want to raise funds for an associate pastor?
Currently, CMC only has one ordained and licensed pastor (Pastor Ken) and he needs help! We believe that the growth of the church, outreach ministries and the general health of the church will be enhanced with an associate pastor on staff. God has a plan for us that is greater than ours. We want our church to walk in the abundance and overflow of God and not just surviving week to week. We will need approximately sixty-thousand dollars to fund this position.
3. Why do we need funds for media equipment?
Our media station is using obsolete equipment from seven years ago. The entire system is in jeopardy of crashing any time and is clearly demonstrating this fact. Our immediate attention is needed! The upgrade will cost approximately $ 8,000.
4. What is the time frame we are pledging for?
The campaign begins on Sunday, March 24, 2019, and ends on March 22, 2020.
5. How will the funds be raised?
The funds will be raised by the giving of free-will sacrificial offerings, such as one-time giving, designated monthly giving and other general donations.
