Balance and equality are not the same thing.

 Premise – “Arise and Shine”

  1. This was a call to the people of God to live a life bigger than what they had been living.
  1. The call to “Arise and Shine” is a call to once again make God big in our lives… to make God greater than our problems, our past, our pain, our failures and our situations.
  1. Regret comes from risks that never get taken.

Premise – The state of our faith will determine what we do with our life. It will determine how far we trust God and how far we are willing to step out into the unknown with Him.

  2. Personal revelation of Jesus builds faith.
  3. Faith calls us to action.

  • Personal finances do not follow the Law of Fairness. How are your finances fair or unfair?



  • When finances are out of balance they sometimes show up in other areas in your life. Is this true in your life?

11 Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty. Everything in the heavens and on earth is yours…

  • The average Christian gives 2-3% of their income.
  • Christians’ struggle with tithing because they have not learned the joy of giving.

A Christmas Thought – Like any human gift, the gift from God needs to be received.
